Needing Homes

Adoption - Giving them a happy life

Needing Homes

As a small organisation, Fingal S.P.C.A does not possess the necessary funds to run an actual shelter or sanctuary.  All of the animals that we rescue are cared for in the homes of our fostering volunteers or in catteries/kennels until they are adopted.

Before adoption a home check is always required to ensure all animals are well matched with their new families. Advice and support can also be given. Please consult our Adoption Guide to ensure you are ready to welcome your new furry companion in your home.

Please note that an adoption fee/donation of €40.00 is requested for a kitten and €60.00 for a neutered/spayed adult cat to help offset part of the costs incurred to rescue, feed and provide the cat with necessary medical care.

If you would like to adopt any of our animals, please contact our volunteer on 089 4612537 or send an email to our dedicated email.

ALL AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

Kluska1

Kluska

April 4, 2026
This is Kluska, a lovely 15 year old female, looking for a retirement home. Her guardian is moving to Iceland and was taking Kluska with her but has recently found out the authorities won't accept Kluska because of her age. Kluska is neutered, microchipped, recently had her annual vaccination and had worm and flea treatment. She's on renal food and is also deaf. Indoor only home required. She does go into the back garden but doesn't leave it. Joanna rescued her when she was 6 weeks old and is heart broken she can't take her with her. Kluska is not keen on other cats but is ok with dogs. Please contact Fingal SPCA if you can care for Kluska. A supply of her food will be provided by Joanna.

Gus

March 30, 2026
Gus is a lovely laid back male, around 7 years old. He is neutered and microchipped. A very friendly, affectionate guy and would suit older adults. He is very happy just hanging around with you and content to sit on the couch. He loves his food and needs a good balanced diet. An indoor home or secure small garden that he can’t get out of is best for Gus. He is fine with other cats.
