Needing Homes

Adoption - Giving them a happy life

Needing Homes

As a small organisation, Fingal S.P.C.A does not possess the necessary funds to run an actual shelter or sanctuary.  All of the animals that we rescue are cared for in the homes of our fostering volunteers or in catteries/kennels until they are adopted.

Before adoption a home check is always required to ensure all animals are well matched with their new families. Advice and support can also be given. Please consult our Adoption Guide to ensure you are ready to welcome your new furry companion in your home.

Please note that an adoption fee/donation of €40.00 is requested for a kitten and €60.00 for a neutered/spayed adult cat to help offset part of the costs incurred to rescue, feed and provide the cat with necessary medical care.

If you would like to adopt any of our animals, please contact our volunteer on 089 4612537 or send an email to our dedicated email.

Maurice

April 22, 2026
My name is Maurice, Im a bit over 1 year old and neutered. I like to eat dry food and drink a lot of water. I like a confortable bed to rest and I don't like to be carried in arms as I might start pouting and wave my tail. I like to take a sun bath and I like to have several litter to my disposition as I drink a lot of water. My favorite toy is a small christmas ribbon that makes a bit of noise when I grab it in my mouth. I would like to get a house where I will be alone for now, as I tend to demonstrate that Im the boss of the house. I may sleep next your feet on your bed and guide you to my bowl of food when I am hungry.

Leo and Laura

April 17, 2026
Two beautiful cats, ready for rehoming. Leo and Laura, siblings, around 7/8 months old. They are neutered, wormed and litter trained. A little shy at the start but come around quickly. Leo is a bit more restrained and will hide for a few days but still very friendly when he knows you. They both love cuddles and pets but will take time to settle and suitable for adults and older teenagers only, not young children. Please see our Facebook and Instagram for videos.

Gus

March 30, 2026
Gus is a lovely laid back male, around 7 years old. He is neutered and microchipped. A very friendly, affectionate guy and would suit older adults. He is very happy just hanging around with you and content to sit on the couch. He loves his food and needs a good balanced diet. An indoor home or secure small garden that he can’t get out of is best for Gus. He is fine with other cats.
