Needing Homes

Adoption - Giving them a happy life

Needing Homes

As a small organisation, Fingal S.P.C.A does not possess the necessary funds to run an actual shelter or sanctuary.  All of the animals that we rescue are cared for in the homes of our fostering volunteers or in catteries/kennels until they are adopted.

Before adoption a home check is always required to ensure all animals are well matched with their new families. Advice and support can also be given. Please consult our Adoption Guide to ensure you are ready to welcome your new furry companion in your home.

Please note that an adoption fee/donation of €40.00 is requested for a kitten and €60.00 for a neutered/spayed adult cat to help offset part of the costs incurred to rescue, feed and provide the cat with necessary medical care.

If you would like to adopt any of our animals, please contact our volunteer on 089 4612537 or send an email to our dedicated email.

Kluska

May 13, 2026
Can you help Kluska? This is Kluska, a lovely 15 year old female, looking for a retirement home. Her guardian is leaving the country and cannot take her with her.  She was rehomed but it did not work out, Kluska is deaf and can be noisy when she wants your attention.  She needs to be with her new guardians a lot so she feels safe. Kluska is neutered, microchipped, recently had her annual vaccination and had worm and flea treatment. She's on renal food due to kidney issues which is common with older cats. Indoor only home required or small terrace.  She does go into the back garden but doesn't leave it. Joanna rescued her when she was 6 weeks old and is heart broken she can't take her with her. Kluska is not keen on other cats but is ok with dogs. Please contact Fingal SPCA if you can care for Kluska. A supply of her food will be provided by Joanna.

Arthur and Astra

May 12, 2026
Arthur and Astra are two young cats. They are neutered, dewormed, etc. They are a bonded pair that have two different personalities yet complementary. They pur synchronized! Arthur has a white nose, is more outgoing but shy the first days. He likes to eat two portions instead of one. He loves toys, enjoying the sun in the balcony and sleeping on my bed. Astra has a black nose, is more timid and difficult to catch / carry. However once he gets used to you, he will let you pet him on the bed and will pur. He is beautiful and needs time to bloom. They are lovely cats that must stay together ⭐️
